This painting is part of my 'Montana Skyscapes' series, a collaboration with photographer Shannon Freix. 

'Middle Fork Fall' is a view from above the Middle Fork Flathead River near Essex Montana during a very moody fall day where the brilliant yellows of the Western Larch were on full display.
